For six years his main practice was at the Oasis Health Clinic in Covent Garden, of which he was co-director. Recently he has concentrated more on teaching and building his current practice in Chiddingfold.
Paul has taught acupuncture at a number of accredited colleges around London for over twenty years and is now the course leader at The City College of Acupuncture, just off of Old Street. Paul is the chief presenter on “How To Locate Acupuncture Points: The Definitive DVD”, and has been published in many magazines, such as Yoga Monthly, Lifescape, Natural Health, CAM Magazine, the Dragon's Tale, and the Chinese Medicine Times. In 2019 he was a consultant on a World Health Organisation project to standardising terminology in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Paul first had acupuncture in the early Eighties. He had been practicing T’ai Chi Chuan for several years and was so interested in the Traditional Chinese view of health that decided to visit an Acupuncturist. Acupuncture made Paul feel very different. He became a lot calmer and focused, less stressed and irritable than he had been previously. After a few years it had brought about such a profound change in his outlook that he decided to change career and retrain as an Acupuncturist.
Paul worked as a self-employed illustrator for fifteen years before re-training as an Acupuncturist. He worked primarily on children’s educational magazines and comic books. He worked for Marvel, DC and Dark Horse comics, drawing and painting such titles as Batman, Judge Dredd and Aliens.
Much of his work is still in print, and you can buy collected editions of his work in specialist comic-book shops throughout the world. His work has been reprinted in Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Argentina
