Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine
Initial consultations last one hour and fifteen minutes; the cost of diagnosis and treatment is £50.
Follow up sessions last about 45 minutes and cost £40.
Herbal medicine may vary slightly in price from person-to-person depending on what they are prescribed. 100gms of powdered herbs in vegi-capsules (typically about three weeks' worth) usually costs £35, although some formulas may contain more expensive herbs; in rare cases, the cost per 100gms may rise to £45.
If you have private health insurance it may cover all or part of the cost of treatment and medication. Please check with your individual health provider about what your insurance covers.

Recommended Timescales for Treatment
The number of treatments you require will depend on many factors including upon your age and your diagnosis. Generally, a minimum of three cycles’ treatment is required to produce a change in the cycle or fertility levels.
If a woman is nearing 40 years or has major complications such as PCOS or endometriosis, treatments will take six or more cycles to show any major change. This does not necessarily mean that treatment needs to take place every week, just that deep-rooted problems take much longer to treat.
